CCNA (ICND2) Study Guide.

Basically I have split my CCNA study guide into 2 parts.

Routing – Routing Concepts, EIGRP, OSPF, Layer 3 Addressing, etc.

Switching – ACLS, VTP, STP, VLANS, Trunking, Inter-VLAN Routing, etc.

I’ve started looking over some old books and watching CBT Nuggets on each topic. I have basically been studying this material for 1.5 years (Which is pretty much way overkill if you ask anyone.) so I’m feeling pretty confident.

Still a soft schedule date for May 14th. May get pushed back a little bit due to having to attend my brothers graduation.

So it’s finally over and completed. I took my final Cisco NetAcad exam which covered WAN Technologies and have officially completed all the classes I need for the Telecommunications Systems Management degree. However, the learning doesn’t end there, it will never end. That’s part of the reason I chose IT. I have chosen to extend my degree, focusing on Network Security, and have enrolled in a Bachelors program for Information Systems Security. I have also scheduled my ICND2 exam for May 14th. Once I pass my ICND2 I will start straight on studying for CCNA:S and CCSP. I hope to build a lab with some 2611XM’s and 2950′s for my CCNA Security/CCSP Lab work. I will keep this blog updated with my progress in Security, Scenarios, Problems, Lab Work, School Progress, and other random information.
